We are looking for a mature, independent and solution-oriented Financial Manager to join our growing team at AI Digital. We are seeking a professional who is able to balance both company and employee interests while making sound, business-driven decisions. Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including payroll, accounts payable and receivable, cash management, and banking activities.
- Maintain, optimize, and enhance the company's financial tech stack and integrations (e.g., Rippling, Bill.com) to improve operational efficiency.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal standards.
- Coordinate, support and review the work of junior and mid-level finance team members, providing guidance and quality assurance.
- Own the month-end close process, including journal entry reviews, accruals, reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Support budgeting and forecasting by consolidating data, validating inputs and preparing financial reports.
- Monitor financial controls, identify risks or process gaps and implement corrective actions where needed.
- Prepare documentation and support internal and external audit processes.
- Standardize and improve financial processes, documentation, and workflows across the finance function.
- Serve as the escalation point for complex financial matters while mentoring junior team members.
- Identify opportunities to automate and optimize financial processes to improve efficiency, accuracy and scalability.
- Demonstrate strong ownership, adaptability and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in finance, accounting or financial management, including at least 1 year in a senior role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards and internal controls.
- Hands-on experience with month-end close, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
- Proficiency with financial systems (e.g., QuickBooks or similar ERP platforms) and advanced Google Sheets skills.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Upper-intermediate English (B2 or higher) with strong written communication skills.
Nice to have:
- Experience with NetSuite (preferred ERP system).
- Industry experience in IT, AdTech or other digital-first companies (experience in other industries is also welcome).
