As an Analyst, you will work closely with experienced CFOs to support client onboarding, prepare financial reports, and assist with analytical projects such as valuations, compensation studies, and acquisition evaluations. This is a highly collaborative, learning-focused role with a clear path for growth as skills and experience develop.

Key Responsibilities

Client Onboarding & Financial Preparation

  • Support the preparation of budgets, cash flow analyses, and benchmarking reports.
  • Help ensure financial information is accurate, complete, and ready for analysis.

Ongoing Client Support & Reporting

  • Prepare and update monthly financial reports for CFO clients.
  • Track results against budgets, forecasts, and key performance indicators.
  • Flag variances, trends, and data inconsistencies for review by senior CFO consultants.

Analysis & Project Support

  • Support agency valuation projects by assisting with financial normalization, maintaining models, and preparing backup documentation.
  • Assist with compensation analysis, acquisition evaluations, and other special projects.
  • Contribute to internal data and benchmarking initiatives to improve reporting tools and processes.

Client Exposure & Learning

  • Attend client meetings with senior CFO consultants to observe and learn best practices in financial advisory services.
  • Draft meeting notes, summaries, and follow-up items.
  • Develop a working understanding of financial consulting for independent insurance agencies.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Excel; experience with financial modeling or reporting tools is a plus.
  • Ability to organize data, meet deadlines, and work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a client-focused financial role.

Growth Opportunity

This role is designed as a foundational position with opportunities to take on increasing responsibility and grow into more advanced analytical or advisory roles over time.
