Role Overview

MotifTales is seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and reliable Home-Based Data Entry Clerk to join our expanding team. In this entry-level remote position, you will play a crucial role in keeping our e-commerce operations running smoothly. You will be responsible for entering, updating, and maintaining accurate records for customer orders, inventory levels, and logistics details.

📋 Key Responsibilities

• Order Processing & Data Input: Input and verify customer orders, shipping details, and custom design requests into our digital e-commerce systems accurately.
• Inventory Tracking: Update stock levels for blank apparel, dyes, and printing materials across internal tracking spreadsheets.
• Record Maintenance: Organize tracking numbers, vendor receipts, and shipment records to support the fulfillment and logistics teams.
• Data Quality Control: Review existing database records for inconsistencies, fix errors, and eliminate duplicate entries.
• Cross-Functional Communication: Coordinate with customer support and production personnel to clarify missing order details or address inventory discrepancies.

• Basic Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. (No prior data entry experience required—we provide full onboarding and training).
• Technical Skills: Fast and accurate typing skills with basic proficiency in Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, or web database software.
• Detail Focus: Meticulous eye for accuracy, punctuation, and correct numeric logging.
• Home Setup: A reliable computer, high-speed internet connection, and a quiet workspace.
• Self-Management: Strong organizational skills and the ability to hit daily input targets independently.
