The Business Solutions team in Portland serves as a key partner to Controlling, Accounting and the broader Finance community across the North America region, ensuring stable, efficient, and standardized financial processes within Daimler Truck’s cbFC (common basic Finance and Controlling) system landscape. In this role, you will combine deep SAP expertise with business process consulting to maintain and continuously improve critical financial systems and processes. Acting as a central link between business key users and global Level 3 support teams in Germany, you will help resolve complex system issues, implement new functionality, and drive process enhancements that directly impact financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and decision-making. Beyond operational support, the team plays a critical role in delivering strategic transformation initiatives, including system enhancements, process standardization, and cross-functional projects. You will contribute to these efforts by applying your functional expertise to design and implement solutions that align with both local business needs and global corporate strategy.

Own end-to-end cbFC process and system support for North America Hub entities, with primary focus on Inventory Accounting, Product Costing, and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA) as well as cross-functional support of adjacent process areas.
Serve as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor to Controlling and Accounting stakeholders by analyzing process and system issues, assessing business impact, and recommending sustainable solutions that ensure stable, accurate, and efficient financial processes and enable reliable reporting and business decision-making.
Lead the resolution of complex incidents and system issues by collaborating closely with key users and Level 3 / global support teams, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing business disruption.
Manage and coordinate cbFC-related project implementations, including new entity rollouts, integration of connected logistics systems, and major system or process changes. Lead project activities across the full project lifecycle (requirements, design, testing, deployment), ensuring successful delivery aligned with business goals and timelines.
Drive implementation of system enhancements and template changes, including local change requests and new cbFC functionality, ensuring alignment with global standards while meeting local business requirements.
Act as a key integration partner between business and cbFC IT, facilitating clear communication, structured issue resolution, and effective knowledge transfer to key users and stakeholders across functional areas.
Provide strategic and operational guidance by evaluating the impact of system and process changes on financial operations and advising stakeholders on optimal solutions that support long-term business objectives.
Drive continuous improvement (CI) initiatives by identifying opportunities to simplify processes, enhance system capabilities, and increase efficiency across upstream systems, cbFC processes, and cross-functional workflows.
Define and support future-state process design in close collaboration with business and leadership teams, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy, policies and standardized cbFC frameworks.
Ensure system stability and quality through structured testing and validation activities within the assigned functional area, safeguarding continuity of operations for cbFC North America locations.
Maintain close alignment with global cbFC support teams (Central, HUBs) to ensure process consistency, leverage best practices, and support the successful execution of global initiatives.
