Position Overview
Fathom Management is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect with recent Hands-On Architecture to support a Department of Veterans Affairs project focused on enterprise architecture, financial systems, healthcare claims processing, enterprise integration, cloud modernization, and legacy system transformation.
The successful candidate will bring approximately 15 years of overall IT/technology experience, including 3–5 years of hands-on Enterprise Architecture experience, with current technical skills in developing cloud architecture diagrams, legacy architecture diagrams, infrastructure specifications, integration models, and detailed enterprise architecture deliverables.
This is not a purely governance, advisory, or executive-level architecture position. The successful candidate must remain technically hands-on and capable of personally developing architecture artifacts, evaluating technical alternatives, documenting infrastructure and integration designs, and working directly with engineers and technical teams.
Candidates should have demonstrated experience in financial processing and healthcare claims environments, preferably within Federal Government environments, and should understand the architecture and integration requirements associated with X12, HL7, IBM Sterling B2B Integrator, iFAMS, and enterprise financial/healthcare systems.
Candidate Verification Notice
For your protection and ours, Fathom Management conducts a brief candidate verification at the beginning of the screening process. Because we support State and Federal Government clients, this verification helps protect your identity, résumé, and application from unauthorized use and confirms that we are speaking directly with the individual who applied for the position.
You may be asked to provide a photo of a government-issued identification document as part of this verification. Video verification may also be required.
Identification is used solely for candidate verification and will be handled in accordance with Fathom Management's privacy and security practices.
