The Director of Business Development is responsible for market development and sales growth within Humanscale’s new Point of Sale product line. The representative will be responsible for growing revenue from Humanscale’s existing customer bases as well as growing market share with new customers. Meeting or exceeding a targeted sales and activity goal is required.
Candidate must possess 5 - 7 years of successful sales and marketing with similar Point of Sale product offerings inclusive of new business development. Bachelor's degree (or equivalent career experience) is required. Ability to arrange travel schedule for overnight travel 50%+, valid passport and driver’s license required. A minimum of 9-12 client meetings per week is expected while travelling. During weeks at the home office a minimum of 15-20 online clients meeting and/or telephone meetings expected. Excellent communication, both written and verbal skills, including creative problem-solving abilities. Experience presenting proposals to clients and stakeholders. Previous success negotiating terms and conditions with clients. Knowledge and/or experience in sales applications within Point-of-Sale space strongly preferred.
Proficiency in AI work tools including but not limited to Microsoft Copilot. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, HubSpot CRM.
Salary Range: $128,286-187,118. In addition to the salary there is a variable pay component. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline. Humanscale considers other factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market location and business considerations when extending an offer.
