Lumenci is seeking a high-performing, analytically driven business professional who is ready to broaden their leadership scope and partner directly with the CEO to help scale a high-growth, private equity-backed organization. This position is preferably based in Austin, TX however New York, NY will be considered.
The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in investment banking, management consulting, corporate development, strategic finance, or business operations, combined with exceptional analytical capabilities, financial acumen, and business judgment. They are intellectually curious, highly organized, and thrive in environments that demand disciplined execution, sound decision-making, and the ability to manage multiple strategic priorities simultaneously.

The Director, Business Operations serves as a strategic business partner to the Chief Executive Officer, supporting the execution of enterprise priorities through operational leadership, financial analysis, and cross-functional collaboration. The role is responsible for translating strategic objectives into measurable business outcomes while strengthening the operational discipline, financial rigor, and organizational effectiveness required to support Lumenci's continued growth.
Working closely with the CEO and executive leadership team, the Director, Business Operations will lead and support initiatives spanning strategic planning, operational improvement, financial analysis, executive reporting, and mergers and acquisitions. This individual will partner across the organization to drive execution, improve operational performance, and provide the analytical insights necessary to support executive decision-making.
The successful candidate combines strong financial and analytical capabilities with exceptional organizational skills and sound business judgment. They are equally comfortable developing sophisticated financial models, leading cross-functional initiatives, preparing executive-level presentations, and driving projects from concept through implementation. They demonstrate a high degree of ownership, accountability, and professionalism while effectively balancing strategic thinking with disciplined execution.
