Are you a life-long learner, curious about the world around you? Are you ready to bring your unique skills to a mission-driven organization? If so, we would love to welcome you to our global community!
IFSA is seeking a detail-oriented and technically curious Digital Marketing Operations Intern to join our marketing team. In this role, you’ll work alongside senior leaders in keeping our marketing data clean, our lead pipeline flowing, and our digital assets running smoothly. You will take ownership of routine CRM hygiene in HubSpot, manage lead routing and lifecycle tracking, build and deploy email nurture workflows, and publish content via WordPress. You will also play a key role in our reporting cadence by pulling dashboards and flagging performance outliers for leadership. This is an ideal opportunity for a data-driven student or recent graduate who wants to gain hands-on experience with enterprise-level marketing technology, cross-functional collaboration, and the analytical backbone of marketing operations.
IFSA (Institute for Study Abroad), a US-based nonprofit organization, creates global learning environments to help students gather the critical perspectives, knowledge, and skills essential for future success. With innovative programming and world-class support, IFSA delivers future-focused study abroad options in 19 countries and 48 cities around the globe. Our commitments to inclusive excellence, intercultural agility, individualized learning and enduring impact are present in every aspect of our programs. Inclusion is a driving passion of our organization. We are committed to building a community where the thoughts and opinions of all team members are valued and contribute to our collective success, just as we build programs with the same focus. If you share our unwavering commitment to Inclusive Excellence and want to join a community that actively strives to improve in all that we do, IFSA is the place for you. You’re detail-obsessed—you double-check your work before hitting publish and take pride in keeping data clean and accurate. You’re naturally curious—when metrics shift, you dig in to understand why and aren’t afraid to ask questions. You’re comfortable with routine but always look for small ways to make repetitive tasks faster and more efficient. You manage your time well—you can juggle scheduled tasks with unexpected requests, and you know when to ask for help rather than guess. You communicate clearly—whether you’re giving a quick update in a stand-up or reaching out to another department for content, you keep things straightforward and professional. You’re organized and reliable—you track your tasks, meet deadlines, and proactively communicate when priorities change.
Comfort with basic spreadsheet functions (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) for data work is also a plus. Prior exposure to a CRM like HubSpot or Salesforce is a nice bonus, though we will provide training. Familiarity with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics is helpful but not mandatory. Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365—Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint—is the primary technical expectation for this role. Working familiarity with web content management systems is valuable, and experience with WordPress is a plus but not required. Current undergraduate or graduate student; or recent college graduate seeking part-time work experience while actively securing full-time employment. Authorized to work in the USA; physically located in the USA for the duration of the internship.
Working on a computer to complete usual office tasks such as typing, phone calls, video calls, emailing. Remote position. IFSA will provide a laptop from which to work.
