The ideal candidate possesses strong experience with Quadient Inspire, modern data hygiene platforms, and data transformation processes, with the ability to translate client and business requirements into scalable, reliable, and efficient production solutions. This role works closely with Client Services, Operations, Manufacturing, and Data Processing teams to deliver accurate, compliant, and high-quality customer communications.

The Data Processing Programmer is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting data processing solutions that drive high-volume print, mail, and customer communication workflows. This position combines technical programming expertise with operational knowledge of variable data printing, mailing compliance, document composition, and workflow automation.

Education, Experience and Training (Knowledge): Typically requires a bachelor’s degree or in lieu of degree, 6 years directly related work experience. 5+ years of experience in data processing, variable data programming, document composition, or direct mail operations. Experience supporting high-volume print and mail production environments. Knowledge of USPS regulations, mailing processes, and postal optimization. Experience working with sensitive or regulated data.
Skills and abilities: Experience with Quadient Inspire Designer or equivalent document composition tool. Experience with Python, JavaScript, XML, JSON, and related scripting technologies. Experience with ETL tools (Redpoint or KNIME preferred). Strong understanding of database structures, file processing, and data integration concepts. Experience troubleshooting and supporting production systems. Strong testing, debugging, and quality assurance skills. Experience with version control systems and documentation practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a production-driven environment. Effective communication and collaboration skills. Ability to balance technical requirements with business and operational objectives.
