Cyber security intern

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with monitoring security alerts and investigating potential security incidents.
• Support vulnerability scanning and help document findings and remediation efforts.
• Participate in security assessments, audits and compliance activities.
• Assist with user access reviews and identity and access management processes.
• Use data analysis, statistical models, historical information, and financial knowledge to make informed risk exposure and management strategies decisions.
• Help develop internal processes and methodologies for risk assessment and risk monitoring.
• Perform other cyber security-related projects and tasks as assigned.

Key Skills/Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher (or international equivalent). Certifications will be considered.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to provide information to a wide variety of audiences regardless of topic and effectively deal with issues that are confidential and sensitive in nature.
• Interest in gaining deeper knowledge and understanding of Cyber Security field.

FLSA Designation (US Only): Non-Exempt

Salary Range: The estimated base salary range for this role is USD$27.00 - USD$33.00 per hour. We include salary ranges in job postings only where required by applicable pay transparency laws, based on the jurisdictions in which the role may be performed. The posted range is a good faith estimate and reflects factors that are subject to change. Final offer amounts may vary based on job-related factors, including work location, candidate experience and expertise, and other relevant considerations.
