Customer service specialist

The Customer Service Specialist is responsible for providing excellent customer support, resolving questions and concerns, and ensuring a positive customer experience. This position requires strong communication, problem-solving, organization, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, chat, and other communication channels.
• Provide accurate information about products, services, orders, and company policies.
• Resolve customer complaints and issues professionally and efficiently.
• Process orders, returns, refunds, payments, and account updates as needed.
• Document customer interactions and maintain accurate records in CRM systems.
• Follow up with customers to ensure issues are resolved and expectations are met.
• Escalate complex issues to the appropriate department or supervisor.
• Maintain a professional, friendly, and helpful attitude during all customer interactions.
• Meet or exceed customer service, quality, and productivity goals.
• Protect customer information and follow company privacy and security procedures.
• Work with internal teams to resolve customer concerns and improve service.
• Stay knowledgeable about company products, services, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service or related experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent listening and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable using computers, email, CRM systems, and other office software.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Professional and positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable internet and a suitable workspace for remote positions, when applicable.
