Job Description

Overview

Compiled Health is a clinical AI research company. We are building a future where the standard of care is executable: where what medicine knows is what medicine does, at every visit, in every setting. The accumulated, evidence-graded knowledge of medicine still lives in documents built to be read, not executed. We compile that knowledge into decision artifacts that are measurable against the standard, deterministic where they must be, and traceable to their source evidence. Our compiler is live in clinical production today: clinicians in public health networks act on its recommendations every day.

About the Role

You will report directly to the CEO and own our content + narrative across writing, social media, video, and launches. We are hiring a maker, not a manager. You write exceptionally well, think in formats, and stay obsessively current with creative tools - the kind of person who tries a new video model the day it ships. You will understand the product deeply, form original points of view, and make the work yourself, with founders, clinicians, and engineers a message away.

The goal is not volume. It is a body of work that earns the attention and trust of exacting clinical and technical audiences - work that gets quoted, screenshotted, and imitated.

What You'll Do

  • Own Compiled Health's voice and editorial standard everywhere it shows up: essays, social, video, scripts, launches, and customer stories.
  • Turn dense material - clinical guidelines, research papers, product architecture, stories from live clinical deployments - into work that is clear, original, and precise enough to survive expert scrutiny.
  • Personally write, script, storyboard, shoot, generate, edit, and publish. Most days you are making something, not reviewing someone else's work.
  • Run an AI-native production stack and keep it current: generative video, image, voice, and audio alongside conventional editing, motion, and design. Choose tools on output quality, not novelty.
  • Build recurring formats and a publishing rhythm that make the company worth following between announcements, and grow three voices over time: ours, our customers', and the community forming around our ideas.
  • Put lightweight review systems around sources, clinical claims, and privacy, so we publish fast without ever publishing something wrong.

Skills and Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

  • Exceptional English writing and editing, with a portfolio that shows original thinking, precision, and a recognizable point of view. You can point to specific work you made alone and explain exactly why it landed.
  • 5+ years producing exceptional editorial, media, or creative work, or an independent body of work that demonstrates equivalent depth.
  • Demonstrated ability to make strong social and video work end to end, alone, at high speed.
  • Hands-on, current fluency with AI production tools - video (Higgsfield, Veo, Runway, Kling, Sora, Seedance), image, voice and audio (ElevenLabs and peers) - alongside conventional editing and motion tools (Premiere, DaVinci, CapCut, After Effects, or equivalents). The exact stack matters less than how quickly you pick up new tools.
  • Genuine fluency in AI and healthcare, or equivalent depth in another technical, evidence-driven field and the ability to reach clinical fluency quickly.
  • Strong judgment around sources, medical claims, privacy, and the line between current product and future vision. Comfort operating from zero to one.

Bonus qualifications:

  • A personally grown audience, publication, channel, series, or podcast with value beyond company promotion.
  • Experience in journalism, documentary, science communication, motion design, animation, data visualization, creative coding, or field production.
  • An engineering, ML, or scientific background, or a sustained record of working closely with researchers and engineers.
  • Clinical exposure of any kind.

Logistics

  • Location: This role is remote, with offsites multiple times per year.
  • Work authorization: You must be eligible to work in the United States or Canada. We are not able to sponsor visas at this time.
  • Benefits: Compiled Health offers health, dental, and vision benefits, flexible PTO, and paid parental leave.

We are an equal opportunity employer and evaluate candidates on merit alone.
