BH Properties is a privately held commercial real estate investment firm focused on value-add acquisitions in office, industrial, retail, and multi-family properties throughout the Western United States, along with investments in distressed debt and ground leases. POSITION

The Controller / Admin Manager will join our team remotely. This position will work during standard US Pacific Time business hours.

REPORTING RESPONSIBILITY

This role will report to the Senior Managing Director.

DUTIES

• Assist in overseeing the teams in the Philippines including but not limited to the following:
• Review and processing of contractor invoices
• Update of property assignments
• Review and monitoring of the team’s performance
• Perform oversight of the accounting function in the Philippines.
• Identify and propose process enhancements.
• Support and assist in the implementation of process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy in operations.
• Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external use.
• Help organize and facilitate training sessions, onboarding and outboarding activities.
• Provide high-level accounting and administrative support to the Senior Managing Director.
• Support special projects and initiatives as assigned by the Senior Managing Director.

QUALIFICATIONS

• CPA required.
• Latin honors (cum laude, magna cum laude, summa cum laude) required.
• At least 10 years of audit / accounting experience with one of the Big 4 accounting firms with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• At least 5 years of supervisory experience.
• Solid organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must possess strong work ethic.
• Must be a team player.
