Birgo is a vertically integrated real estate company. We raise capital to acquire and maintain rental properties, specializing in multifamily—an important sector of real estate because it's where people call home.
We're an agile company that has grown from 15 to 100 team members over the last ten years. We're guided by a distinctive set of values (read more about T.H.R.I.V.E. below) and an enduring mission that touches our residents, investors, employees, and communities alike.
Join our team to improve lives through real estate.
As our Client Services Representative, you'll be the first point of contact for our investors. You'll work directly with Investor Relations leadership, including the CEO, learning the fundamentals of real estate investing while delivering the kind of responsive, hospitable service that sets Birgo apart.
$50,000–$60,000 per year
The "Director of First Impressions" for investor relations; triaging daily incoming communication, typically on the phone or via email.
Carry ongoing communication with current investors, ensuring responsiveness, professionalism, and a consistent experience across touchpoints.
Serve as the technical support contact for investors struggling to navigate the online platform (e.g., resetting passwords, updating profile details, or viewing investment performance).
Assist investors who have questions regarding their monthly or quarterly distribution statements, updated balances, or banking information changes.
Communicate with investors during tax season, answering basic questions about Schedule K-1 distribution timelines, resending lost documents, and troubleshooting portal login issues.
Aggregate common questions or friction points from the investor inbox to help the team update FAQs, improve the call script, or refine the onboarding workflow.
Conduct initial screening calls with prospective investors using an established call script and qualification framework; document outcomes and escalate qualified leads to a capital raiser.
Monitor the status of pending document signatures and money transfers to ensure they are completed.
Proactively nurture the investor relationship from an experience standpoint (gifting, touchpoints, event invitations) in a way that reflects Birgo's hospitality standards.
Support events and webinars administratively.
Assist with bulk mailing or emailing of newsletters, quarterly reports, and company updates.
Other duties as assigned to help Birgo improve lives through real estate.
We prefer someone based in Pittsburgh, but we will consider remote candidates on a case-by-case basis.
Must be able to be on the phone and use a computer for an entire workday.
We take care of our hardworking team by providing opportunities for professional growth and paying attention to holistic staff needs. Birgo values diversity in our staff and seeks to enhance the diversity of our team at every opportunity.
