CHILDREN’S CONTENT SPECIALIST

Location: Grapevine, TX (In‑Person) or Remote

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30am–5:00 pm. CST

Reports To: Children’s Content Manager

FLSA Status: Exempt

If you love helping children grow in their walk with Christ by writing and developing children’s bible study curriculum, Bible Study Fellowship invites you into a joyful journey of impact as a Children’s Content Specialist!

The Children’s Content Specialist works within our Ministry Development department to provide rich and exciting curriculum for both primary and secondary levels. This position will work to achieve theological integrity, quality assurance and strategic alignment of study and training materials.

YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Write and edit children’s content.
  • Work with the editing team to produce, review, update, and unify study materials.
  • Develop materials at age-appropriate levels.
  • Ensure the theological focus across all study materials is maintained.

WE ASK THAT YOU BRING:

  • Personal faith in Jesus Christ and agreement with BSF’s Statement of Faith, policies, and values.
  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Minimum 2 years of BSF’s Leader experience is required. Experience as a Children’s Leader is preferred.
  • Minimum two years' experience as a writer, content editor, or similar role is required.
  • Minimum two years’ experience as a children’s curriculum writer in a Christian context is preferred.
  • Minimum two years’ professional or volunteer experience working with children in a church or para-church setting is required.
  • Theological training (Undergraduate or Masters) is preferred.
  • Expertise in online curriculum development and delivery is preferred.
  • Proficiency in necessary software (e.g. Adobe, Microsoft office suites) is required.
