This is a fully remote Financial Planner role that will support our Retirement Solutions team. The candidate will ideally live in the Northern part of California ideally within close driving distance of Sacramento, CA. Some travel will be required.
This role does require the candidate to have their Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation, and they must also possess their FINRA 6, 63, 65 (or 7/66) & life insurance licenses.
This is a G2 band role.

Reports to Director or Associate Vice President and does not have direct reports.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance.
License/Certifications: FINRA 6 license and Certified Financial Planner designation required. Associates must obtain the required federal and/or state licenses/registrations within the time period designated by the business unit. Additional licenses/registrations may be required when new products and services are implemented. If an associate fails to acquire required licenses/registrations within the designated time period, the associate will be ineligible to continue in the position.
Experience: Two years of experience in the financial services industry with specialization in financial planning.
Knowledge, Skills and Ability: Knowledge of Profiles or Money Guide Pro or similar financial planning software. An in-depth understanding of the industry, financial concepts, product knowledge, investment management and client service strategies desired. Knowledge of investment products. Familiarity with property and casualty distribution a plus. Superior analytical, organizational, research, initiative and multi-tasking skills.

Working Conditions: Normal office environment; occasional travel as needed.
