Campaign manager - programmatic

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Campaign Manager - Programmatic based in the United States.

The Campaign Manager will own the day-to-day execution and optimization of programmatic recruitment advertising campaigns across job media networks. You will manage campaign budgets, bidding strategies, performance metrics, and conversion funnels to help clients achieve their hiring goals. The role is highly data-driven, requiring you to turn large datasets and real-time campaign signals into actionable optimization strategies. You will continuously test creative, job content, landing pages, channels, and other campaign elements to improve applicant engagement and conversion. Working closely with clients, account managers, sales teams, and internal technical teams, you will identify issues and deliver practical solutions. The position offers exposure to online advertising, recruitment technology, programmatic media buying, and performance marketing in a collaborative environment. This is a full-time remote opportunity for a commercially minded, analytical professional who enjoys optimizing campaigns and solving complex problems.

Accountabilities

• Design, launch, manage, and optimize end-to-end programmatic recruitment advertising campaigns across job media networks.
• Allocate and optimize monthly advertising budgets to achieve defined performance objectives and dynamically adjust bidding strategies based on real-time application and conversion data.
• Optimize campaigns against client goals such as Cost Per Click (CPC), Cost Per Applicant (CPA), return on investment (ROI), and other agreed performance indicators.
• Monitor campaign performance and regularly QA live campaigns to ensure accurate ad serving, click tracking, conversion events, and overall campaign functionality.
• Track and analyze key recruitment marketing metrics, including CPC, CPA, application completion rates, conversion rates, and progression toward hires.
• Analyze large datasets and database tables to identify performance trends, opportunities, anomalies, and potential campaign issues.
• Conduct ongoing A/B testing across job titles, descriptions, landing pages, media channels, visual assets, and other campaign variables to improve applicant engagement and funnel conversion.
• Translate campaign and performance data into clear, actionable insights and strategic recommendations for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve campaign efficiency and performance based on client success metrics and business objectives.
• Investigate technical and non-technical campaign issues, coordinating with internal teams to diagnose problems and drive them through to resolution.
• Communicate regularly with account managers and clients to understand their needs, provide performance updates, and support successful campaign outcomes.
• Occasionally participate in client-facing pre-sales calls alongside sales teams, providing campaign and programmatic expertise where relevant.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Media Studies, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Advanced Excel proficiency is required, including strong practical knowledge of VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
• Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to work confidently with large datasets and performance information.
• Proven ability to use data and performance results to inform media-buying decisions and optimize recruitment or marketing conversion funnels.
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Experience in online advertising, digital media, performance marketing, or related fields is an advantage.
• Experience in online sales, client-facing roles, or pre-sales environments is an advantage.
• Experience writing SQL queries or working with databases is a plus.
• Previous experience managing recruitment advertising campaigns is highly valuable.
• Familiarity with programmatic recruitment platforms such as Appcast, Recruitics, PandoLogic, or Joveo is a strong advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify performance issues and develop practical solutions.
• Proactive, driven, and commercially minded approach, with a willingness to take ownership and continuously improve campaign performance.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment while collaborating with clients, account managers, sales professionals, and technical teams.
