Are you the type of person who hears about a new marketing campaign, pricing strategy, or business initiative and immediately wonders, "Did it work? Why? And should we do more of it?" Do you enjoy designing experiments, digging into the data, and separating real business impact from coincidence?
As a Business Intelligence Analyst at MASA, you'll help answer the questions that drive smarter business decisions. Working closely with our Sales and Marketing teams, you'll design structured experiments, evaluate strategic initiatives, and quantify their financial impact. Rather than simply reporting what happened, you'll determine why it happened, what it means for the business, and what we should do next.
This is an opportunity for an analytically curious professional who enjoys combining experimentation, financial analysis, and business strategy to solve meaningful problems and influence decisions across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and other key business functions.
MASA has been a leader in emergency medical transportation insurance since 1974. We're not just a company – we're a close-knit team dedicated to "Protecting families with compassion when others don't." Our professional yet friendly company culture fosters collaboration, innovation, and a clear mission that resonates through every role as we support our expanding base of 2+ million members across the United States and the Caribbean. Reporting to our Sr. Manager of Finance and Data Analytics, you will partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Product leaders to evaluate strategic initiatives, uncover business improvement opportunities, and provide the analytical insight that drives smarter decisions.
Your main responsibilities will include:
A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, Economics, Statistics, or a related field. An MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
Three or more years helping business leaders solve complex problems through consulting, business intelligence, marketing analytics, GTM strategy, commercial finance, or another highly analytical business role.
Experience designing and evaluating business experiments, including A/B or multivariate testing, and translating results into practical business recommendations.
Strong financial, scenario, or business modeling skills with the ability to connect KPIs to outcomes such as revenue growth, ROI, customer acquisition cost, or EBITDA.
Advanced proficiency with Power BI and Excel, including Power Query, pivot tables, and complex formulas. Experience with VBA or Power Automate is a plus.
Excellent storytelling, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex analyses to non-technical audiences and senior business leaders.
Competitive base salary, bonuses, and comprehensive employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, and vision insurance with highly rated carriers; a 401(k) program with a company match; paid time off; company-paid short-term disability, long-term disability, and basic life insurance; and a free MASA membership.
A professional and friendly company culture that supports a clear mission: "Protecting families with compassion when others don’t."
An opportunity to help shape business strategy by delivering the insights and analytical rigor that drive smarter decisions across Sales and Marketing.
Many Business Intelligence roles focus on reporting what already happened. This role is different.
You'll help business leaders evaluate new ideas before they become standard practice. Whether it's testing a marketing campaign, analyzing a pricing strategy, or modeling the impact of a business initiative, your work will help determine where MASA invests its time and resources next. If you enjoy asking tough questions, designing rigorous analyses, and seeing your recommendations influence real business decisions, you'll find this role both challenging and rewarding.
