Job Description

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team and assist in managing our clients' financial records accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles, proficiency in relevant software, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

  • Record financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll entries.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger accounts.
  • Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and other financial records.
  • Prepare and process invoices, bills, and expense reports.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Collaborate with clients and team members to resolve any discrepancies or issues.
  • Provide support during financial audits and reviews.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in bookkeeping.
  • Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned by management.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles.
  • Proficiency in bookkeeping software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
