Associate creative director, art

The kind of Associate Creative Director, Art we're looking for:

You've spent 10+ years in pharmaceutical marketing, at least 5 of them inside an agency and 3 at a leadership level, and you've led brand planning against budgets in the 3M–8M range. You've got a genuine artistic point of view and the ability to get other people, clients included, to see it too.

You know pharma regulation well enough to deliver best-in-class creative inside it rather than around it, and you're ready to lead and mentor an art team while still staying close enough to the work to protect its quality.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with departmental leads to build project briefs
• Build strong client relationships through creative ideation, recommendations, and hands-on support
• Present creative concepts and strategy to clients and cross-functional teams
• Bring deep insight on brands, disease states, clinical trials, data, and competitive products into the work
• Uncover and create marketing initiatives that genuinely deliver on client strategy, not just check a box
• Own the quality of art assets produced, including any third-party vendor work
• Help manage day-to-day operations of the design team, setting priorities, assigning resources, and keeping projects on track
• Work alongside CDs to grow the creative team while maintaining strong internal relationships
• Track industry, competitor, and cultural trends, and pull them into the work; help shape agency strategy, not just follow it

What this role is not

This isn't a purely strategic seat removed from execution, you're still accountable for the art assets that actually go out the door. It's also not an entry-level leadership role, you need real agency and leadership experience behind you before stepping in here.

What you bring

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, life sciences, or a related field
• At least 10 years in pharmaceutical marketing, including 5+ years agency-side and 3+ years at a leadership level
• Experience leading brand planning with client budgets in the 3M–8M range
• In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and industry trends
• Strong leadership and team collaboration skills
• Excellent presentation and client interaction skills

$160,000 - $180,000 a year

Compensation & Benefits

Full medical and dental benefits, 15 days vacation plus one additional day per year of service, unlimited flex time, and a $500 home office stipend at time of hire. Our hiring package is ever-evolving to meet the needs of our team.

The environment

P10 is remote-first, always has been. This role is open to candidates in the United States or Canada, with a preference for Eastern time zone. You'll report to the VP, Creative Director, working inside a structure flat enough that your creative vision actually shapes client work.
