About the Role

We are looking for curious minds who genuinely enjoy asking questions, validating facts, and discovering information that others overlook. As an Assistant to the Project Director, you will become an extension of the Project Director's research capability. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct deep research, validate information, meet relevant stakeholders when required, and present evidence-backed findings that can be confidently used for business decisions. This is not a copy-paste internet research role. We are looking for researchers who understand that every number, statistic, and conclusion should be supported by credible evidence.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Director on one or more assigned projects.
  • Conduct primary and secondary research using AI tools and traditional research methods.
  • Use AI responsibly to accelerate research—not replace critical thinking.
  • Validate every important statistic, claim, or data point with reliable and verifiable sources.
  • Present references, supporting documents, and justification for every recommendation.
  • Meet individuals, professionals, organizations, or communities whenever field research is required.
  • Document interviews, observations, and research findings professionally.
  • Prepare structured reports, presentations, summaries, and recommendation notes.
  • Maintain complete confidentiality of project information.
  • Manage multiple research assignments simultaneously.
  • Support brainstorming, innovation, and problem-solving discussions.

Field Research Approximately: 70% Remote Research 30% Field Interaction

Field work may involve visiting nearby locations, attending meetings, interacting with professionals, communities, institutions, or individuals relevant to the assigned project. You should enjoy meeting people and gathering authentic insights directly from the source.

AI Usage

AI is encouraged. However... You should never rely on AI-generated information without validation. Every important fact should answer one simple question: "How do you know this is true?" You should be able to produce supporting evidence whenever asked.

Equipment & Connectivity Requirement:

  • You must own a smartphone with a minimum 24 MP camera capable of recording high-quality video and audio, along with a tripod for stable video recording during field interviews.
  • You must also have access to a laptop or desktop computer with a working webcam and microphone.
  • Stable, high-speed internet connection to participate in virtual meetings, research discussions, project reviews, and remote collaboration.
  • Only the cost of the tripod will be reimbursed as part of project expenses; all other equipment and internet connectivity must be arranged by the candidate.
