JOB TITLE: Application Programmer

Scope of Services

• Design, code, compile, test, debug, modify, and document new or existing application programs within accepted standards, procedures, and guidelines.
• Identify, research, and resolve program, machine, data, or system software problems, frequently on an individual basis in consultation with other employees and/or users.
• Review the work of programmers for assigned systems responsibility to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Analyze changes, enhancements, and/or system designs to ensure data integrity and availability.

Mandatory Expertise / Experience

• Two (2)+ years of expertise and/or relevant experience in:
• SQL Server and data integrity solutions
• CRM systems, intake portals, and automated reporting
• .NET full-stack and ASP.NET frameworks
• Enterprise coding best practices

Desirable Expertise / Experience

• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure) and modern frameworks (Vue, Angular, React)
• Prior experience developing state applications or working within regulated public-sector environments.

***Lumen and / or its clients will not provide equipment (Laptop, monitor, etc.) to the selected contractor. The contractor must have their own equipment. Access to a virtual desktop set up (software) will be provided by Lumen’s client, allowing the user access to the required systems and technology.***
