Account payable clerk (entry level)

Responsibilities

• Process incoming invoices and ensure accuracy and completeness
• Assist with payment processing and reconciliation tasks
• Review and verify accounting documents and reports
• Coordinate with vendors regarding payment inquiries
• Maintain organized records of financial transactions
• Support month-end closing activities
• Assist with audits and other financial reviews
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Finance or Accounting is a plus
• Basic understanding of accounting principles
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• A commitment to learning and developing financial skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Prior experience in a finance-related role is a plus but not required
