Senior Clinical Supplies Specialist

As a Senior Clinical Supplies Specialist at ICON, you will manage and coordinate clinical supplies activities to support the successful execution of clinical trials.

What You Will Do:

You will lead on clinical supplies and logistics tasks requiring technical depth, with a focus on quality and continuous improvement. Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating the procurement, distribution, and inventory management of clinical supplies for ongoing and upcoming clinical trials.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to assess supply needs, develop strategies, and ensure alignment with study timelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitoring supply levels, managing reorders, and maintaining accurate inventory records to prevent shortages or delays.
  • Interacting with suppliers and vendors to ensure the quality and timely delivery of clinical supplies while managing relationships effectively.
  • Providing support and training to team members on clinical supplies processes and compliance best practices.

Your Profile:

You will have a strong foundation in clinical supplies and logistics, with the experience to work independently and guide others.

Required qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, life sciences, or a related discipline
  • Extensive experience in clinical supplies management or logistics, preferably within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements related to clinical supplies, including Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
