Job Summary
The Senior IT Technician accomplishes IT objectives by assisting in the planning, organizing, and supervision of IT Technicians and by ensuring the smooth operation of the facility’s computer systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assists in overseeing the completion and documentation of all assigned day-to-day activities.
- Provides assistance and instruction to IT personnel in the execution of their assignments.
- Provides second-level and advanced support for all systems including software and hardware for all platforms, problem determination/isolation, analyzing problem data, performing data analysis, documenting findings, etc.
- Installs new hardware, such as personal computers, printers, servers, phones, etc.
- Installs and troubleshoots company approved software and web applications by utilizing general IT knowledge and problem-solving skills to respond to service requests.
- Ensures that all service requests are handled or escalated in a timely manner.
- Maintains supported systems as required, including running backups, editing system data, running reports, etc.
- Captures and deploys standardized workstation configurations and maintains PCs to current configuration levels.
- Creates and maintains end-user accounts and permissions as required, providing desktop support.
- Educates users to reduce recurring issues by offering solutions to problems in a proactive manner.
- Trains IT Technicians on various systems or processes as needed.
- Ensures confidentiality of property data and security while maintaining compliance with regulations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively communicate with guests, co-workers and management.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries, complaints, or service requests in a timely and efficient manner.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of software and web applications as well as system hardware.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Development, or related field.
- Three to five years of work experience in information technology or related field.
- Must obtain valid gaming license, where applicable.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit or stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee may be required to work long hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. The employee may be exposed to smoke when on the floor of the gaming room. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
