Our Support Center is located in Murray, Utah, and supports more than 16,000 team members across Red Robin Gourmet Burgers, Sizzler Steakhouse, Dunkin’, Wingstop, Little Caesars, Jersey Mike’s Subs, Jamba, and Cinnabon.

Job Objective

The Administrative Assistant for the IT Department is the first touch point of contact for internal employees and external visitors to the Sizzling Platter Help Desk Team, the Physical Security Team, and the Data Security team. This role performs administrative tasks such as triaging and assigning incoming help desk requests, coordinating work assignment schedules, shipping and receiving equipment, assisting with project coordination, conducting meeting documentation, and cross-departmental collaboration. A successful candidate will be outgoing, organized, personable, detail-oriented, punctual, and willing to learn. Candidates should be prepared to learn to use common workplace software such as Microsoft Office, Customer Relationship Management systems, Help Desk Ticket Management systems, and Project Management systems.

Key Responsibilities

IT Help Desk Assistant

  • Administrate Help Desk requests, acting as first point of phone, email, and in-person contact for office and restaurant issues, creating and assigning trouble tickets to a team of help desk personnel, dispatching high-priority tickets, and managing technician schedules for optimal coverage.
  • Create, manage, and/or delete user accounts in Active Directory, Office 365, and other software.
  • Serve as a first point of contact for the IT department, fielding requests, dispatching technicians, and maintaining filing and documentation systems.
  • Work with leadership to identify ticket trends and document new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to streamline help desk operations.

Project Management Assistant

  • Assist the project manager with administrative tasks, basic technical configuration, and coordination of large volumes of workload.
  • Coordinate logistics with shipping and receiving equipment, packing boxes, and arranging delivery locations.

Inventory Management

  • Coordinate with the Inventory Manager to track the lifecycle of hardware assets from procurement/shipping to decommissioning.
  • Maintain the inventory supply room, logging equipment movement, arranging sale and disposal of old hardware, and routine cleaning and maintenance.
  • Coordinate with the Inventory Manager to ship, receive, and track equipment.

General Office Administration

  • Assist the Corporate Receptionist with front desk coverage as needed.
  • Assist with special events, promotions, activities, and employee incentive programs.
  • Coordinate with Human Resources to assist with employee onboarding.
  • Coordinate with other departments on projects and general workflow.
  • Follow up with technicians on work assignments.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfactory customer service.
  • Recommend new processes or procedures to improve operational performance.
  • Complete other assignments as directed.

Requirements

  • Able to type 45 WPM.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with using Microsoft Office products.
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong multitasking skills with the ability to triage competing priorities in a high-volume environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Able to lift 25 lbs.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
  • Experience with Azure and Active Directory is a plus.

Schedule

This is a 100% in-person role at our support center in Murray, UT. Remote candidates will not be considered. Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
