SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Application Administrator owns the day-to-day configuration, user management, and tier one and two support for Ascent Aerospace’s growing business application stack. As the organization deploys new platforms including a CRM, an HRIS replacement, and the AccureAI AI platform alongside existing systems including SAP, 3D Experience, Dayforce, SharePoint, and Quote Central, this role ensures business users can work effectively in their tools and that the IT team is not consumed by helpdesk and configuration requests. The Application Administrator is what allows the Enterprise Solutions Architect to focus on architecture and delivery rather than break-fix and user support.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Application Administration

• Own user provisioning, access management, and role configuration across all business applications in the Ascent technology stack.
• Manage configuration changes, workflow updates, and integration monitoring for CRM, HRIS, AccureAI, SharePoint, and other SaaS platforms.
• Maintain application documentation including user guides, configuration records, and support runbooks.
• Coordinate with vendors on platform updates, new feature rollouts, and open support cases.

User Support

• Serve as the first point of contact for tier one and two application support requests across all business systems.
• Triage, resolve, or escalate support issues in accordance with defined service level agreements.
• Identify recurring issues and work proactively to address root causes through configuration or training rather than repeated break-fix.
• Maintain a knowledge base of common issues and resolutions to enable self-service where possible.

CRM and Service Portal Administration

• Lead configuration and administration of the CRM platform serving both the Business Development and Spares & Service teams.
• Manage custom objects, pipelines, workflows, and integrations within the CRM environment.
• Support the installed base data migration and ensure ongoing data quality in the machine database.

Platform Onboarding

• Manage new application onboarding including account setup, single sign-on configuration, and user training coordination.
• Support the HRIS evaluation and eventual implementation by owning the technical administration side of the transition.
• Coordinate with IT infrastructure on Microsoft 365 GCC High tenant configuration and cross-platform authentication.

REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years of experience administering SaaS business applications in a corporate environment.
• Hands-on experience with CRM administration (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, or equivalent).
• Experience with HRIS administration (Dayforce, ADP, Workday, SuccessFactors, or equivalent).
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to distinguish user error from system issues.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical issues into plain language for business users.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with Microsoft 365 GCC High tenant administration.
• Familiarity with SAP ECC or S/4HANA user administration.
• Experience with SharePoint administration and governance.
• CRM or HRIS administration certifications.
• Experience supporting AI or analytics platforms.
• Background in aerospace, defense, or manufacturing industry.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

No direct supervisory responsibility.

While performing the duties of this job, employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes and airborne particles. The employee may be exposed to vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. May be required to travel to other site locations during the work day. May be required to work weekends to meet department and business demands. Work with safe manufacturing processes and understand that eyewear is mandatory in the manufacturing area. Knows that safety shoes are recommended in the manufacturing area.
