Amh clinic manager

Responsible for goals and objectives to include management of operational processes and resources and financial performance of AMH Rural Healthcare Clinics. Supervises and coordinates activities of all office staff. Prepares work schedules and expedites workflow. Responsible for the development and implementation of policies and procedures for the office/clinic. Keeps the physician(s) informed of both progress and potential problems. Responsible for the direction and evaluation of patient care delivery. Monitors billing, collections, insurance payments, accounts payable. Coordinates, implements, and ensures compliance with Accountable Care Organization guidelines.

Family Practice Clinic Manager Schedule: Full-time

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in business administration or degreed healthcare professional preferred. Two to four years of equivalent management/supervisory experience, preferably in a medical setting or one to two years of continuous.

Responsibilities: Provider scheduling, clinic coverage, staffing levels and labor-cost management, recruitment, onboarding, retention, and performance management, clinic budgets, productivity, and financial performance, patient access and workflow improvement, quality measures and patient-satisfaction results, Medicare, Medicaid, RHC billing, and regulatory compliance, electronic health records and practice-management systems, standardizing processes across multiple locations, managing change and maintaining communication with geographically dispersed employees, knowledge and understanding of high-level administrative issues in a medical clinic, ability to work with physicians in a collaborative manner, demonstrates an understanding of accountable care/payor reimbursement, contract negotiations.
