Interstates is looking for a proactive, organized Administrative Assistant II to help the Organizational Development (OD) team turn plans into coordinated, well-executed work.

What You’ll Do

• Coordinate OD projects and initiatives from planning through follow-up, organizing timelines, next steps, and key details.
• Track deadlines, action items, and dependencies; flag upcoming needs or potential roadblocks.
• Coordinate meetings, trainings, and workshops, including agendas, materials, logistics, notes, and follow-up.
• Prepare first drafts of presentations, documents, communications, and meeting materials for review.
• Maintain accurate project information, schedules, documentation, and records.
• Handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
• Adapt as priorities change while maintaining accuracy and dependable follow-through.

What You’ll Bring

• Strong project coordination and organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Initiative and sound judgment; you can get started, ask useful questions, and anticipate next steps.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare polished drafts and presentations.
• Adaptability, attention to detail, and confidence learning new systems.
• A strong understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
• Professionalism, discretion, and a collaborative approach.

Location, Work Arrangement, Schedule & Travel

• Location: Office-based at either the Sioux Center, Iowa, or Sioux Falls, South Dakota, location.
• Schedule: Full-time, generally Monday–Friday; hours may vary based on business needs.
• Travel: Occasional travel may be required based on business needs, up to 10%.
