In our Porto location, we are looking for a Junior Human Resources Business Partner.
The Junior HRBP role supports regional GBS HR operations across Poland and Portugal by assisting with the execution of HR processes, ensuring operational consistency and supporting compliance with local labor law, company policies and country-specific requirements. The role works closely with the Senior Manager HRBP to support organizational initiatives, employee relations activities and day-to-day HR coordination within the regional GBS environment. Support day-to-day HR operations across the assigned GBS locations, acting as a first point of contact for employee and manager HR-related queries outside of HR Service Delivery scope.
Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities in partnership with managers, HR Service Delivery and other relevant stakeholders to ensure a smooth employee experience and compliance with local processes.
Maintain and support workforce tracking, HR metrics and reporting activities, ensuring data accuracy and timely updates for organizational and business needs.
Provide first-level employee relations support by assisting with routine employee matters, escalating more complex issues to the Senior Manager HRBP when appropriate.
Support the implementation of organizational changes, including coordination of communication, documentation and employee transition activities.
Assist in the execution and follow-up of core HR processes such as performance management, merit reviews, talent activities and employee engagement initiatives.
Act as a liaison between local business teams and HR Service Delivery teams to support effective HR operations and resolution of employee requests.
Partner with managers and employees to promote HR policies, processes and company guidelines while ensuring alignment with local labour regulations and internal practices.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing HR processes, operational efficiency and employee experience within the GBS organization.
Support local people development and employee engagement activities, helping foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or other related fields.
HR certification or additional HR-related trainings considered an advantage.
2 - 3 years of HR experience, preferably within HR Operations, HR Generalist or Junior HR Business Partner roles in multinational or matrix organizations.
Experience supporting employees and managers in dynamic and fast-paced environments.
Exposure to shared services, GBS or SSC environments considered an advantage.
Good understanding of core HR processes and employee lifecycle activities.
Experience supporting HR processes such as onboarding, performance management, employee relations coordination and workforce administration.
Basic understanding of HR operating models, HR Service Delivery (HRSD) structures and standardized HR processes.
Familiarity with local labour law and HR practices in at least one supported country (Portugal).
Experience supporting organizational or operational changes and HR initiatives is considered a plus.
Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build collaborative relationships with employees, managers and HR stakeholders.
Customer-oriented and solution-focused mindset with strong organizational and coordination skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail and service quality.
Comfortable working in a collaborative and evolving international business environment.
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
Good MS Office knowledge, experience with SuccessFactors, iCIMS or other HR systems considered an advantage.
Fluent English required; additional European language skills considered an advantage.
Availability to travel occasionally for business needs when required.
