Job Description:

Job Summary

The Brokerage Customer Agent at the Airport, is responsible for managing customer communications related to customs clearance processes and brokerage services. The role serves as the primary point of contact for customers, providing professional support and guidance to ensure timely, accurate, and efficient clearance of shipments. The successful candidate will deliver excellent customer service while coordinating closely with internal teams to facilitate smooth customs operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for customers regarding brokerage and customs clearance inquiries
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, and ticketing systems.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot customer concerns, escalating complex cases when necessary.
  • Guide customers through customs clearance requirements and documentation processes.
  • Review, collect, and manage customs-related documentation to support shipment clearance.
  • Proactively communicate with customers to ensure all required information and documents are submitted on time.
  • Provide accurate information regarding brokerage services, customs regulations, shipment status, and applicable charges.
  • Engage with customers in an inviting and professional manner to deliver exceptional experiences and nurture lasting relationships.
  • Follow company guidelines and procedures for customers communication.
  • Support departmental administrative & reception tasks and contribute to continuous process improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a Brokerage, Customs Clearance, Logistics, or Customer Service environment will be considered a strong advantage.
  • Strong customer-focused mindset with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of Greek & English Language (Recommended level: Proficiency)
  • Proven knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize daily tasks and promote a positive work environment.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality.
