Imperial Beverage

Imperial Beverage is a Michigan-based wine and spirits distributor founded in 1933 following the repeal of prohibition. Acquired by Kalamazoo's Cekola family in 1984, the company has expanded from a single-county beer distributor into a top 10 statewide wholesaler of beer, wine, and spirits. Headquartered at 3825 Emerald Drive in Kalamazoo, MI, Imperial Beverage operates four locations across Kalamazoo, Livonia, Ishpeming, and Traverse City, providing consistent coverage to every Michigan county throughout the year. With more than 200 employees, the company is guided by its mission of “Helping People Succeed,” supporting restaurants and retailers through a diverse portfolio of fine wines, craft beers, ciders, spirits, sodas, and mixers.”
