Hotaling & Co. is a San Francisco-based importer and distiller specializing in premium artisanal spirits, with a portfolio that includes Luxardo Liqueurs, Nikka Whisky, Kavalan Whisky, HINE Cognac, Denizen Rum, and HIRSCH Selected Whiskeys. Founded in 1993 as Anchor Distilling Company, the company is known for releasing America's first post-Prohibition craft whiskey, Old Potrero, and craft gin, Junipero Gin. Following a 2010 acquisition by a partnership including Tony Foglio and Berry Bros. & Rudd, the company expanded its collection of super-premium spirits sourced globally, and in 2017 it was renamed Hotaling & Co. in tribute to San Francisco spirits legend A.P. Hotaling. Headquartered at 550 Montgomery St. in San Francisco, the company employs more than 270 people and continues to unite artisan distillers worldwide, sharing their craft with discerning consumers.
