Chanda Center for Health

Founded in 2005 and headquartered at 1630 Carr St, Lakewood, Colorado, Chanda Center for Health is a wellness and fitness services organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for people with physical disabilities. The organization pursues systemic change through advocacy efforts, including a local Medicaid pilot program and model legislation initiatives aimed at expanding access to integrative therapies nationwide. These efforts are supported by partnerships with the State Pain Policy Advocacy Network (SPPAN), a program of the American Academy of Pain Management, as well as membership in the Integrative Health Care Policy Consortium. Through its Quality of Life program, Chanda Center for Health delivers direct services via both non-location-based offerings, in partnership with providers in local and national communities, and location-based services at its health and wellness suite in Denver, Colorado, which it shares with fellow nonprofit SCI Recovery Project.
