Frequent travel of up to 70% is required to support customers, field teams, market launches, and operational improvement initiatives. Located near a major Airport is a plus.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with automotive dealerships, rental car companies, fleet operators, locksmith networks, automotive service organizations, and other strategic partners.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, decision-makers, and industry partners.
  • Establish sales targets, territory objectives, and performance expectations across all markets.
  • Analyze customer trends, competitive activity, pricing, service performance, and market conditions to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Participate in customer meetings, business reviews, contract discussions, and negotiations.
  • Support the successful launch and expansion of mobile key cutting services in new geographic markets.

Lead Field Operations

  • Provide hands-on leadership for mobile key cutting and programming operations across multiple markets.
  • Regularly visit field locations and ride along with mobile teams to evaluate performance, understand operational challenges, and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Lead Regional Managers and other field leaders while creating a culture of accountability, urgency, safety, customer service, and continuous improvement.
  • Establish consistent operating procedures, productivity standards, service expectations, and performance metrics.
  • Monitor sales, service, labor, fleet, and financial results, and take corrective action when performance falls below expectations.
  • Resolve complex customer and operational issues while ensuring a consistent, high-quality customer experience.
  • Recruit, coach, develop, and retain strong field leaders and support succession planning for critical positions.
  • Lead onboarding, training, and capability-development programs related to sales, operations, automotive key technology, equipment, safety, and customer service.

Manage Logistics and Mobile Fleet Performance

  • Oversee the logistics required to support a mobile, route-based service operation.
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure vans, tools, equipment, technology, inventory, and supplies are available where and when they are needed.
  • Optimize route planning, territory coverage, technician scheduling, and vehicle utilization to improve productivity and customer response times.
  • Support inventory planning and replenishment processes to reduce shortages, service disruptions, and excess inventory.
  • Coordinate resources for new-market launches, including fleet deployment, staffing, training, equipment, inventory, and customer implementation.
  • Identify and implement scalable processes that improve service delivery, reduce operating costs, and support continued business expansion.

Own Business and Financial Performance

  • Manage budgets, forecasts, capital investments, resource allocation, and profit and loss performance.
  • Use sales, operational, customer, and financial data to identify trends and make informed business decisions.
  • Develop action plans to address revenue gaps, operating challenges, customer concerns, and market-specific performance issues.
  • Provide executive leadership with clear updates regarding sales performance, field operations, customer activity, financial results, risks, and growth opportunities.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Operations Management, Automotive Technology, or a related field preferred or equivalent relevant experience
  • At least 10 years of progressive leadership experience in field operations, route-based sales, mobile services, automotive services, or a related industry.
  • At least five years of experience leading leaders, including Regional Managers, Market Managers, or similar multi-location field leadership positions.
  • Demonstrated success driving new business, growing revenue, managing customer relationships, and improving profitability.
  • Experience leading a geographically dispersed mobile workforce or route-based service organization.
  • Strong knowledge of field operations, logistics, fleet management, route optimization, territory planning, and workforce deployment.
  • Experience managing multi-market operations with responsibility for sales, customer satisfaction, operational execution, budgets, forecasts, and profit and loss results.
  • Experience in the automotive aftermarket, locksmith services, fleet services, mobile services, automotive repair, or a related field is strongly preferred.
  • Strong business-development, negotiation, account-management, and customer-presentation skills.
  • Ability to coach sales and operational leaders and hold teams accountable for measurable results.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills, including experience with budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, and performance metrics.
  • Ability to move effectively between strategic planning and hands-on field execution.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel frequently, up to 70%, including overnight travel.

Leadership Style

The successful candidate will be a visible, engaged leader who:

  • Leads from the front and maintains a strong presence in the field.
