To complement our team, we are looking for a customer- and team-oriented individual for our Industrial X-Ray Systems division at the Yokohama site as a Service Engineer.

As part of the Industrial X-Ray Systems (IXS) division, our Comet Yxlon brand delivers advanced industrial X-ray and CT solutions for reliable non-destructive testing, analysis and quality assurance in semiconductor, electronics, automotive and other high-tech industries.
What you will do:
The Service Engineer provides technical service and support to customers in the field, as well as for external Service Provider and internally within the company. As the face to the customer, the Service Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction, resolving technical issues efficiently, and identifying additional sales and service opportunities. The role requires a strong service mindset, hands-on technical capability, and the ability to support customers in demanding industrial and semiconductor market environments.
What you bring:
Language skills: Japanese and English. Mechanical and electrical engineering expertise; a two-year technical degree or certification is preferred. Understanding of fundamental electronic principles, electrical circuits, and basic three-phase and single-phase power systems and components. Knowledge of PLC logic, motion control systems, and industrial troubleshooting practices. Strong technical writing, communication, PC, and networking skills in a Windows environment. Familiarity with common lab testing equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and soldering tools.
