Job Description
Job Summary:
This role supports a global banking client's Data Governance Tooling programme across the Americas Division and wider global regions. The programme provides change delivery and managed-service support across Collibra Data Intelligence Platform (DIP), Collibra Data Quality & Observability Classic (self-hosted), integration engineering, quality assurance, DASH/IBM Business Automation Workflow, Azure, AKS and Databricks services. The Integration Solutions Architect owns client-facing integration architecture across APIs, custom full-stack applications, Collibra/Edge, Databricks, IBM BAW and Azure services. The role remains hands-on with Java and Python application stacks, including Django/React-based services, containerised deployment and production troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Define integration architecture connecting Collibra DIP/DQ, Edge, Databricks, Azure SQL, IBM BAW, DASH and other enterprise applications.
- Architect custom full-stack integration applications and operational tools using Java and Python service stacks, including Django and React-based components where used.
- Define REST, JSON, XML and OAuth integration standards, API contracts, error handling, retries, reconciliation, versioning and secure service-to-service authentication.
- Design and support Collibra APIs and Edge integration patterns and metadata/data synchronization with enterprise systems.
- Design Databricks/JDBC/Azure SQL connectivity, data-access patterns and integration services for batch and API-driven workflows.
- Design IBM BAW REST integrations and service interactions with modernized React/Django applications and data platforms.
- Define network architecture across F5 reverse proxy/load balancing, DNS/Infoblox, VNet peering, private connectivity and enterprise firewalls.
- Define secrets and certificate patterns using Azure Key Vault, service identities and approved enterprise security controls.
- Design deployment and runtime patterns for Kubernetes/containerized integration services and coordinate CI/CD, logging, monitoring and support requirements.
- Lead hands-on troubleshooting across full-stack applications, APIs, batch/Tivoli jobs, containers, network and data stores and provide technical direction to GCC engineering teams.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of enterprise integration or solution-architecture experience with hands-on software engineering responsibility.
- Strong REST, JSON, XML and OAuth knowledge and experience designing secure enterprise APIs.
- Practical Java and Python experience and understanding of Django and React-based full-stack application architecture.
- Experience with Collibra APIs and Edge or comparable enterprise platform integration.
- Experience with Databricks, JDBC and Azure SQL integration patterns.
- Experience integrating with IBM BAW/BPM REST services is desirable.
- Working knowledge of F5 reverse proxy/load balancing, DNS/Infoblox, VNet peering and firewall architecture.
- Experience with Azure Key Vault, certificates, secrets and service identities.
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerized integration services and associated CI/CD/observability patterns.
- Working knowledge of Tivoli / IBM Workload Scheduler and strong hands-on production troubleshooting skills.
