Paired is looking for a dedicated US Tax Accountant to join a forward-thinking U.S.-based company in a fully remote capacity. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about providing exceptional tax services and solutions to a diverse range of clients, including small business owners and innovative entrepreneurs.

As a US Tax Accountant, you will take on a crucial role in tax preparation, compliance, and strategic planning while ensuring accuracy and integrity in all client financials. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage client relationships will be key in delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced digital environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file federal and state tax returns for clients, ensuring compliance with U.S. tax regulations
• Review financial statements and documents to identify potential tax savings and compliance issues
• Maintain thorough, organized records to ensure audit readiness
• Communicate with clients effectively through email to collect necessary documentation and address inquiries
• Utilize Canopy CRM to manage client tasks and streamline workflow
• Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and improve processes
• Stay abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure accurate client advice and services

Minimum of 3 years of experience in U.S. tax preparation and accounting

Active CPA or EA designation

In-depth understanding of federal and state tax laws

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in tax preparation

Excellent written communication skills for professional client interactions

Experience with Canopy CRM or similar tax software tools

Ability to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating effectively with a team

Well-organized with the capacity to manage multiple clients and meet tight deadlines
