Role Description

We are seeking a Territory Manager based in either Tennessee or Alabama who will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding market presence, and supporting customers within an assigned geographic region. This role combines relationship management, technical product education, and strategic territory planning. You will work closely with contractors, distributors, and design professionals to promote STI’s firestop solutions and ensure successful project outcomes. This is a fully remote role that requires frequent travel within the Tennessee/Alabama market to support customers and drive sales activity.

What You’ll Do:

• Coordinate sales efforts on large projects.
• Set up and manage distribution of the company products.
• Sustain a rapport with key accounts by making periodic visits; exploring specific needs; anticipating new opportunities.
• Consistently identify new sources of business.
• Make effective presentations to a variety of audiences.
• Articulate ideas clearly and concisely to a diverse audience in a variety of settings.
• Able to meet and surpass sales goals.
• Self-motivated, ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Ability to relate to customers’ requests and needs and deliver solutions.
• Available to travel as required throughout the region.
• Additional duties and responsibilities as required or assigned.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelors Degree in Business or Equivalent Experience

Minimum: 2 to 3 years outside sales experience. Construction sales experience and understanding of the construction process is a plus but not required. Experience with solution selling (preferred).

Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Email).
• Experience with CRM (Salesforce) platform.
• Strong oral and written communication skills; comfortable presenting to groups.
• Team‑oriented mindset.
• Demonstrates professionalism, motivation, enthusiasm, energy, and integrity.
