Brief Job Description: Provider Finance is looking for a clear, organized writer who can turn complex information into useful documents people can understand and use. In this role, you will write, edit, and manage reports, manuals, guides, policies, procedures, and other materials that support Provider Finance programs. You will help make technical, financial, regulatory, and program information accurate, consistent, accessible, and easy to follow. This position reports to the Director of Provider Finance, works with limited supervision, uses independent judgment, and may provide guidance or coordination for other staff.

Initial Screening Criteria:
Required: Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a bachelor's degree in English, technical communication, journalism, communications, or a related field. Three years’ experience composing, organizing, reviewing, and editing technical or business documentation. Relevant experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
Preferred: Experience writing policies, procedures, manuals, how-to guides, reports, or instructional materials. Experience translating complex financial, technical, regulatory, or program information into clear language. Experience with document design, graphics, publication layouts, accessibility, version control, and documentation tools. Experience working in Provider Finance, Medicaid, health care finance, reimbursement, or state government.
