Job Description

CrossTech is seeking a Technical Program Lead on an ongoing basis to oversee the delivery of enterprise-scale software solutions and guide development teams in building high-performance, secure, and scalable applications. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, ensuring successful end-to-end execution of development projects within a collaborative, Agile environment. The ideal candidate will bring deep full-stack development experience, exceptional leadership and communication skills, and a proven ability to align technical execution with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead full-stack development initiatives using .NET Core, Angular (14+), and SQL within a microservices-based architecture
  • Collaborate with enterprise services, data modeling, infrastructure, QA, and security teams to ensure solution integrity and cross-functional alignment
  • Oversee technical design and architecture to ensure scalability, maintainability, and compliance with security standards
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to developers — promoting best practices in design patterns, testing, and DevOps automation
  • Refine business requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications and design documentation
  • Support project management efforts by assisting with estimation, resource planning, and progress tracking
  • Ensure application performance optimization, system reliability, and proactive security practices
  • Participate in code reviews, enforce coding standards, and maintain high-quality development output
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) and key liaison between technical teams, project management, and business stakeholders
  • Contribute to Agile ceremonies and promote engineering practices that enhance team productivity (TDD, CI/CD, source branching strategies, automated testing)
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide technical support for critical systems as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field — or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of professional experience in .NET full-stack development, including significant front-end and API integration experience
  • Strong expertise in .NET 6+, C#, LINQ, Web API, SQL Server, and Entity Framework
  • Proficiency with Angular (14+), JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and RESTful services
  • Deep understanding of microservices architecture, logging/security frameworks (e.g., ELK stack), and authentication/authorization design for external users
  • Experience leading development teams and mentoring junior engineers in Agile and Scrum environments
  • Knowledge of architecture patterns and OOP principles (MVC, MVVM, Factory Method, Strategy, Decorator, Publish/Subscribe)
  • Hands-on experience with TDD, unit testing, and code quality tools
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Git, or TFS for source control, CI/CD, and backlog management
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with API development, Java, or Liferay
  • Exposure to cloud migration or modernization projects (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
  • Familiarity with DevOps and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Understanding of agile estimation, planning, and iterative delivery techniques
