Job Title: Talent Acquisition Manager

Job Description

The Talent Acquisition Manager serves as a vital business partner to the Regional Vice President and is tasked with creating comprehensive recruiting plans tailored to meet the needs of a designated region. This role involves developing sourcing strategies to ensure a sufficient pool of high-quality candidates for both hourly and management cafe positions. By collaborating with operational leaders, the Talent Acquisition Manager addresses staffing needs and builds regional plans that align with business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate regional, market, and cafe needs in collaboration with the Regional Vice President and Human Resource Manager. Prioritize plans and action items to address these needs effectively.
  • Develop and implement adaptive sourcing strategies to respond to evolving market challenges and requirements.
  • Monitor cafe staffing levels, providing consistent feedback and recommendations to ensure operational partners and cafe managers receive the support they need for hiring.
  • Ensure a steady pipeline of candidates by overseeing the sourcing, screening, and interviewing processes to maintain a high-quality candidate experience.
  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Department and Hourly Sourcing Team to enhance processes and develop sourcing strategies that ensure adequate candidate flow.
  • Execute and champion process or program enhancements, supporting special projects to completion and participating in the rollout of new initiatives.
  • Provide guidance and training on recruiting processes and best practices, focusing on improving candidate and hiring manager experiences to boost associate retention.
  • Manage expenses responsibly within established budget parameters.
  • Participate in leadership meetings to review staffing needs and performance, ensuring alignment and effective communication with internal clients.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the retail business to ensure Talent Acquisition processes contribute positively to business outcomes.
  • Support the regional Sourcing Specialist by offering direction, development, and feedback to achieve recruitment goals.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience in restaurant or retail recruiting required.
  • Knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, labor, and EEO regulations is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal clients, candidates, and vendors.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently while meeting deadlines.
  • Experience in sourcing/recruitment strategy development and problem-solving.
  • Workforce planning experience preferred.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Candidate Relationship Management (CRM) systems, and other recruiting technology. Familiarity with Workday and Phenom People is a plus.

Work Environment

This position offers a 100% remote work environment, with a preference for candidates residing in the Upper Midwest.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Saint Louis, MO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.47 - $37.65/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
