Your Role:

Millipore Sigma’s BioReliance Testing Services (BTS) — the world’s largest provider of pharma and biopharma GMP manufacturing and biologics safety testing — is seeking a Strategic Account Executive to drive revenue growth across a regional territory and a portfolio of Global Strategic Accounts. You will combine deep territory ownership with global account stewardship, operating in a matrix environment to deliver sales growth, profitability, and best-in-class customer service. As a senior commercial expert, you will work with a high degree of independence, mentor peers, and influence commercial strategy at the leadership level. Can be located anywhere in US and fully remote. Will travel 70% nationally and 30% internationally to client sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Territory & Global Account Management
  • Own and execute strategic plans for your territory and assigned Global Strategic Accounts to meet quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Build deep customer relationships at all levels; identify needs and deliver solutions through BioReliance Biosafety Testing services.
  • Formulate and implement global account plans; negotiate, renew, and manage global contracts.
  • Map key stakeholders and decision-makers; ensure consistent communication on account strategy and performance.
• Commercial Leadership & Collaboration
  • Act as a senior advisor and best-practice resource; mentor peers and contribute to the strategic direction of the BTS commercial organization.
  • Lead or contribute to cross-functional teams and process improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate with customer service, technical service, field marketing, technology management, and demand planning to deliver customer-centric solutions.
  • Provide accurate territory and global account forecasts; maintain CRM and sales tools diligently.

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications:

• BS in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Business, or a related Life Science discipline with 5+ years of experience; MS with 3+ years; or PhD with 2–5 years (or 8+ years of equivalent progressive experience).
• Proven sales track record in a global or complex commercial environment, including international account management or senior-level negotiation.
• Senior-level knowledge of the pharma services or contract testing services competitive landscape.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM software, and forecasting tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience selling services or products to pharma/biopharma companies supporting biologic molecule production.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical and biotech drug production processes.
• Experience in a cross-functional matrix organization with a customer-centric delivery model.
• Strategic and conceptual thinking — translates complexity into clear, actionable priorities.
• Executive-level stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Effective negotiation with a track record of win-win outcomes.
• Strong relationship-building, credibility, and trust development.
• Accurate forecasting and confident value-based pricing conversations.

Travel Requirements:

Approximately 50% travel within the sales territory; international travel required to support Global Strategic Account responsibilities.

Pay Range for this position:

$115,000-$181,200

The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors.
