Software engineer

The software engineer at PRO QC International will form a vital part of the IT team, focusing primarily on designing, coding, and testing a variety of software features and solutions. These solutions drive significant business value and contribute directly to the company's growth and success.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop software solutions by studying information needs, system flow, data usage and work processes to meet business requirements.
• Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle, following the best engineering practices such as code reviews, testing and bug tracking.
• Collaborate with other software engineers, business analysts and software architects to plan, design, develop, test, maintain enterprise level applications.
• Perform thorough troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve both technical and end-user issues.
• Contribute to the improvement of operational efficiency by identifying and analyzing opportunities to automate processes and tasks.
• Prepare and produce releases of software components, and keep up-to-date documentation.
• Sustain a high standard of service through continuous improvement and innovation.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
• At least 3-5 years' software development experience working in a team environment.
• Strong knowledge of full-stack development, including web technologies.
• Experience with software development methodologies and lifecycle, ideally Agile/Scrum.
• Familiarity with software configuration management tools, defect tracking tools, and peer review practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven problem-solving skills and an ability to work under pressure.
