About the Role

Currently seeking a Staff Engineer with a strong blockchain background. In this senior role, they will advance crypto-native software, ensure product excellence, and contribute to platform growth.

Responsibilities

• Technical Architecture: Architect, design, and develop robust and scalable software solutions, ensuring the highest level of code quality and performance.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, client success, and leadership, to drive product development and innovation.
• Mentoring: Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning within the engineering team.
• Code Quality: Conduct thorough code reviews and implement best practices to maintain high standards of code quality.
• Technical Leadership: Lead technical discussions and decision-making processes, providing expertise and insights to inform strategic decisions.
• Expertise: Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in blockchain technology, applying this knowledge to improve our platform and offerings.
• Technical Solutions: Drive the resolution of complex technical challenges, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
• Development Processes: Contribute to the development of internal tools and processes to enhance team productivity and product quality.
• Uptime: Assist with the security, stability, and scalability of our software, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues.
• Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, translating complex technical concepts into clear and concise terms.

Qualifications

Must-have:

• Extensive experience in software engineering, with a strong background in blockchain technology.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions in fast-paced and dynamic environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in creative chaos.
• 5+ year’s experience in production-grade web applications.
• Proficiency in Javascript, Typescript, and React.
• Experience with responsive design and a mobile-first approach to development.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD.
• Great intuition for UX and attention to detail.
• Solid understanding of asynchronous programming, RESTful APIs, and data manipulation within web applications.
• The ability to self-start and work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Deep understanding of the crypto space and a passion for innovation in blockchain technology.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience mentoring and leading engineering teams.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Prior experience with blockchain platforms.
