Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP FICA Consultant with over 12 years of hands-on experience in implementing, supporting, and enhancing SAP Financial Contract Accounting solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP FICA modules, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead end-to-end project delivery. This role requires strong business acumen, technical knowledge, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless financial processes aligned with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the full lifecycle of SAP FICA implementations and upgrades, including blueprinting, configuration, testing, documentation, and go-live support.
• Design and configure SAP FICA processes including billing, contract accounts, invoicing, payment processing, dunning, disputes, and collections.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and provide SAP FICA solutions that optimize performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to SAP FICA functionality and integration with other SAP modules like SAP FI, SD, and CRM.
• Develop and execute testing scenarios including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior consultants and team members.
• Work closely with ABAP developers and functional teams to deliver custom solutions and enhance standard functionalities.
• Prepare detailed functional and technical documentation to support SAP FICA processes and developments.
• Stay updated on SAP FICA best practices, new releases, and industry trends to recommend improvements.
• Coordinate with BASIS, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth system performance and compliance.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to contract accounting and reconciliation.
• Collaborate with external vendors and consultants as needed to meet project objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in SAP FICA module implementation, support, and enhancement.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable (FI-CA) configuration and integration.
• Expertise in billing, invoicing, payment processing, dunning, disputes management, and collections processes.
• Experience with SAP SD and FI modules to support integration scenarios.
• In-depth understanding of Accounts Receivable and Contract Accounting business processes.
• Proven experience in handling complex projects and delivering end-to-end SAP FICA solutions.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead a team in a dynamic environment.
• Strong experience with process improvements and automation using SAP features.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA FICA is a plus.
• Knowledge of related technologies such as ABAP, IDoc, ALE, and EDI interfaces is advantageous.

Preferred:

• Experience in utilities, telecommunications, or insurance sectors.
• SAP certification in FI-CA or related modules.
• Experience working in global or large-scale SAP environments.
