Significance is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join our growing team. This position is remote and requires a Public Trust clearance.

The Senior Java Developer will be responsible for:

• Design and develop Web Application using Java (Spring Boot)
• Build and maintain backend services for:
• Profile management
• SSN lookup
• Data validation and synchronization
• Integrate with:
• AWS services (API Gateway, RDS, S3, messaging services)
• External authentication systems
• Ensure applications are secure, scalable, and compliant with enterprise and ATO standards
• Design scalable architecture and support:
• Error handling
• Logging
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and integration strategies
• Participate in code reviews and enforce development best practices
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment

Desired Skills:

• 7+ years of Java development experience
• Strong expertise in:
• Spring Boot / Spring Framework
• REST API development
• Experience with relational databases and SQL
• Familiarity with AWS services and cloud-native development
• Strong understanding of application security and authentication mechanisms

$93,000 - $102,000 a year

At Significance, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package and is determined within a range. Our pay ranges are based on the local cost of labor benchmarks for each specific role, level, and geographic location. We carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including but not limited to experience; job-related skill sets; relevant education or training; and other business and organizational needs. The salary range listed is for the level at which this job has been scoped. In the event that you are considered for a different level, a higher or lower pay range would apply. This position is also eligible for a comprehensive and generous benefits package.
