Job Description

SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER B2B SaaS & Field Service Applications

Location: Remote - USA (Eastern or Central time zones)

Industry: Industrial Water Treatment Technology

Most product managers inherit a roadmap. This one owns the product. Our client is a growing manufacturer of water quality testing and chemical feed technology, and the software platform their customers run on is now central to the business. A white-labeled web portal plus native tablet and mobile apps, used by service technicians, laboratory managers and plant operators to document service visits and deliver customer reports. They are looking for a hands-on product leader who can run discovery, design the workflow, write the requirements and ship it. This is an individual contributor seat with real authority, reporting to the VP of Product Management.

What you'll own:

  • Customer discovery: interviews, workflow observation, usability testing, and a roadmap built on what you learn
  • Hands-on design in Figma. You personally create the wireframes, user flows and interactive prototypes across web, tablet and mobile
  • The backlog. Epics, user stories, testable acceptance criteria, sprint planning with engineering and QA
  • Product acceptance and release readiness, including pilots, release notes and customer communications
  • Mobile releases end to end through App Store Connect and Google Play Console
  • Commercial input on positioning, demos, pricing, packaging and feature entitlements

What we need to see:

  • 5+ years in product management with substantial hands-on B2B SaaS ownership
  • Proven ownership from discovery through design, delivery, launch and post-launch measurement
  • Experience shipping both browser-based software and native mobile or tablet apps, including the release coordination yourself
  • Real Figma proficiency. Creating the designs, not reviewing someone else's
  • Strong customer discovery and usability testing, with the ability to simplify complex operational workflows for users of varied technical confidence
  • Technical fluency in APIs, integrations, data models, permissions and synchronization. Coding not required
  • Clear written communication and independent prioritization

Helpful but not required:

  • Water treatment, industrial water management, laboratory workflows, or software serving manufacturing and industrial facilities
  • Field service, inspection, maintenance or asset management tools
  • Offline and intermittent-connectivity workflows and data synchronization
  • Multi-tenant and white-label SaaS, configurable workflows, role-based access

If you have been the product manager who does the work rather than delegating it, and you want a platform you can genuinely shape, let's talk. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
