Rockstar is recruiting for a mission-driven real estate technology company that operates a two-sided housing marketplace focused on affordable housing. The client is at the forefront of solving the affordable housing crisis, connecting members seeking affordable places to live with hosts who provide them. Rockstar has partnered with the client to find a Senior Product Designer to shape and improve experiences across its marketplace.
The company is hiring a Senior Product Designer to shape and improve experiences across its two-sided housing marketplace. Working on a growth-focused product team, the person will tackle meaningful, complex problems for members and hosts, helping make it easier to find, access, and provide affordable housing. The person will play a central role in designing intuitive, human, and scalable experiences that create measurable impact for customers and the business.
The company is looking for a senior-level designer who blends strong product intuition, systems thinking, deep empathy for users, and growth-minded experimentation. The person thrives in complex problem spaces, moves fluidly between big-picture strategy and pixel-level detail, and can clearly connect design decisions to customer needs and business outcomes. Above all, the person is authentic, collaborative, and energized by solving meaningful problems with cross-functional teams.
No bots here: the applicant's resume will be reviewed by live humans from PeopleOps and the hiring manager. If the company is interested, the next step would be a video screen with a member of the PeopleOps team for about thirty (30) minutes. If warranted, the next step would be a project review with the hiring manager for one (1) hour. If warranted, the next step would be a design case study with key Design stakeholders at the company for one (1) hour. If warranted, the final step would be a design craft exercise with key stakeholders at the company for one-and-a-half (1.5) hours. If warranted, then the process moves to offer!

Note: Although the job posting says it is in Atlanta, Georgia, this is a fully remote position. This is a result of the company's Applicant Tracking System requiring a location to post the role on LinkedIn.
The company participates in E-Verify. All new employees are required to complete an I-9 form and be authorized to work in the United States. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of the E-Verify process. The company is an Equal Opportunity Employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran. The company may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses and identifying potential inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials based on available information. These tools assist its recruitment team but do not replace human judgment. Final hiring decisions are ultimately made by humans.
