About the Role

Cherry's providers are the business. They choose to offer Cherry, they use it every day, and their success directly determines ours. This role exists to make sure Cherry earns that relationship through great design, and to ensure the tools and experiences we give providers and their patients are best-in-class.

We're looking for a Senior Product Designer to contribute to one of two pillars:

• Core Experience is about the quality of the day-to-day product experience for providers: the apps, flows, and tools they use to run their practice with Cherry. This work is about raising the UX bar across the board, eliminating the friction and inconsistencies that erode trust, and ensuring Cherry is the product providers want to recommend to other practices. It also includes net new, zero-to-one products that expand the suite of value Cherry offers providers.
• Checkout Experience is about how Cherry shows up at the point of care, for both providers and patients. On the provider side, it means giving practices the right tools to offer Cherry financing in whatever form their business needs. On the patient side, it means ensuring people can understand their options, choose the right payment plan, and complete a transaction with confidence. The work is tied directly to volume, conversion, and the outcomes that let both practices and patients thrive.

As a Senior Product Designer, your job is to own the solution space. Given a problem, you find the best answer. You work through ambiguity, explore the options, push the craft, and deliver something that holds up. You're not here to define strategy — you're here to make sure the work is excellent. That's the job, and it's an important one.

What You'll Do

Solution Ownership

• Own the solution space for problems your team is working on — explore, pressure-test, and deliver the best answer
• Work through ambiguity to find clarity, knowing when to push for more definition and when to move with what you have
• Execute at a high craft level across the flows and surfaces your pod owns
• Iterate based on feedback, data, and user insight until the work is right

Craft & Quality

• Hold a high bar for the details that build trust: clear language, predictable interactions, transparent pricing, and graceful error handling
• Push work beyond functional toward experiences that feel genuinely considered
• Use research and prototyping to validate direction and catch problems early
• Contribute to reusable patterns that raise quality across your domain

Cross-Team Partnership

• Partner closely with Product and Engineering to plan, prioritize, and ship
• Advocate for users — both providers and patients — in decisions about flow structure, information hierarchy, and experience quality
• Contribute to critique and design quality discussions across the broader Cherry design team

What You Bring

• 3-5+ years of product design experience with hands-on ownership of product flows or features
• Strong interaction design craft across multi-step, complex flows
• High visual design quality and sharp attention to the details that build trust
• Ability to own the solution space: comfortable exploring multiple directions and converging on the right one
• Experience designing transactional, conversion-critical, or provider/operator-facing products a plus
• Collaborative instincts and strong working relationships with Product and Engineering partners
• Systems thinking across end-to-end journeys, not just individual screens
